Brymio or Holded: how they differ
Holded brings invoicing, bookkeeping, banks, inventory, projects, CRM and team management together in one tool. Brymio is modular business software for freelancers and small businesses in Spain, with invoicing, time tracking, hiring, online store, projects and website audits on every plan. Here is what each one does better, and their prices and limits as they publish them.

What Holded does better
- It does full bookkeeping, with automatic journal entries and corporate income tax, from the Estándar plan (€59 a month). Brymio does not do double-entry bookkeeping.
- It includes VERI*FACTU on all its plans. Brymio's engine is built, but for now its records go to the Spanish Tax Agency's test environment.
- It connects more sales channels (Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Amazon, and Wix) and turns orders into invoices. Brymio connects Shopify and WooCommerce.
- It connects directly to your banks on all its plans. Brymio imports transactions as CSV or Norma 43.
- It generates payslips with its Nóminas add-on, at €5 per employee a month. Brymio delivers the payslip your accountant prepares, with acknowledgement of receipt, but does not calculate it.
- If your accounting firm is a Holded Partner, it gets in for free on any plan without taking a seat. In Brymio your accountant gets in from the PYME plan.
- It has an app for iPhone and Android. Brymio works in the phone's browser and installs on the home screen.
- It has been on the market longer: its website mentions more than 900,000 users. Brymio is a young product from a small company.
What Brymio does better
- It has a free plan with no end date and no card, with every module. Holded has no free plan: it offers a 14-day trial.
- The working-time record is included on every plan, under article 34.9 of the Spanish Workers' Statute, and someone who only clocks in does not take a seat. In Holded, time tracking is an add-on from €1.50 per employee a month.
- Invoices have no limit from the Autónomo plan (€19.99 a month). Holded counts them per calendar year: 250 on Plus and 1,000 on Básico.
- One price per company: the PYME plan (€59.99 a month) gives 5 people with access, 25 employees clocking in and a login for your accountant. In Holded, Estándar (€59 a month) gives 4 users, and each extra user costs €10 a month.
- If you sell on Shopify or WooCommerce, Brymio also runs the catalogue: bulk editing with a backup, checks before publishing, and the orders. The invoice comes from the order with the per-line VAT the store calculated, and your customer sees it in their Shopify account.
- Your Shopify or WooCommerce store's stock is on the same plan, with several warehouses from PYME. In Holded, the Inventory module is an add-on from €25 a month.
- The same price includes Hiring (job offers and applications), Projects, Store Health audits and Search for your store.
